PUBLIC INFORMATION: Village of Cuba WWTP Phase II NEPA Document

January 31st, 2017

Souder, Miller & Associates (SMA) is pleased to announce the availability of the NEPA document describing proposed wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) improvements phase II for the Village of Cuba, Sandoval County, New Mexico.

The proposed project addresses the need for the WWTP to dispose of the biosolids currently stored in the offline aerated lagoon WWTP in an environmentally appropriate manner. The Village also needs to develop a Long-Term Biosolids Management Plan to address biosolids from the new Aero-Mod WWTP and to develop a method to handle effluent in a manner consistent with discharge permits. At this time, the Village of Cuba is conducting a period of public review and comment for the NEPA documentation.

A draft copy of the NEPA document can be viewed electronically here. Please be advised that this document is large and may therefore require an extended time to download depending on internet connection speed.
