A good right-of-way map starts with the proper establishment of existing right-of-way and easements using recorded deeds and documents. A diligent search, and location of existing T-rails, monuments will be used along with the existing right of way maps to establish the existing right of way. Procedures we will utilize to establish existing centerlines will consist of splitting bridges and stationing recovery of T-rails.
For all proposed acquisitions, we will conduct title search (33 year minimum) documentation and reporting. We are familiar with the necessary submittals to first and second check review and final map submittal with the Lands Engineering and Right-of-Way Divisions.
The Souder Miller Team offers many years of providing right-of-way plans for the engineering projects they have contracted. We are familiar with the format and calls necessary in the preparation of legal descriptions and easements regarding identification of the project, property owner, ties to project stationing, etc.
