Souder, Miller & Associates is Awarded Professional Engineering Contracts for Water Distribution and Wastewater System Planning, Design and Construction Phase Services

Souder, Miller & Associates (SMA) has been awarded on-call contracts by the City of Las Vegas, New Mexico, to provide water distribution and wastewater systems planning, design and construction phase engineering services.
Through the water distribution system on-call contract, SMA’s scope of services may include updating altitude control valves and water line loops, replacing and repairing water line leaks, designing water line extensions and providing water model updates. Through the wastewater system on-call contract, SMA’s scope of services may include sewer line replacement, multiple lift station rehabilitations, aeration piping modification, bank upgrades, inflow and infiltration studies and tank rehabilitations.
Steven Wright, P.E., works out of SMA’s Albuquerque location and will serve as project manager for these efforts. Steve has extensive experience in preparing planning documents for water and wastewater systems, design of water and wastewater systems, water and wastewater system modeling, developing project technical specifications, preliminary opinion of probable construction costs and GIS database and exhibit creation. Wright is very familiar with Las Vegas and has worked on the Las Vegas raw water conveyance project, Storrie Lake pump station and the Bradner fill line.
