Souder, Miller & Associates Wins Follow-on Taos Regional Landfill Engineering & Environmental Services Contract

Souder, Miller & Associates (SMA) has been awarded a follow-on engineering & environmental services contract for the Taos Regional Landfill. SMA has provided services for the landfill since 2003 including engineering design, construction bidding, construction management, permit modifications, and a variety of environmental services. These services include methane monitoring, groundwater monitoring, and preparation of a baseline groundwater quality report, all for submittal to the NMED-SWB.

SMA has performed 70 similar landfill projects in New Mexico, Colorado Wyoming locations. Additionally, SMA has provided transfer station, convenience center, and recycling center design and construction management services for facilities including:

·        Greentree Transfer Station and Recycling Facility

·        Tierra Amarilla Transfer Station and Recycling Facility

·        Eldorado Transfer Station and Recycling Facility

·        City of Las Vegas Transfer Station and Recycling Facility

·        La Cienega Convenience Center and Recycling Facility

·        Los Lunas Transfer Station and Recycling Facility

·        Santa Clara Pueblo Convenience Center and Recycling Facility
