GARFIELD MDWC & MSWA WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed BIDS for the construction of the Garfield MDWC & MSWA Water System Improvement Project will be received, by Garfield MDWC & MSWA, at the office of the Garfield MDWC & MSWA, 8580 Hwy. 187, Garfield, NM 87936 until 3:00 pm local time, on October 16, 2018, at which time the BIDS received will be “publicly” opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 62,000 LF of 4, 6 and 8-inch waterline, steel casing installed by open-cut and trenchless methods, hydrants, gate valves, automatic meter reading system, replacement of existing meters and related appurtenances along with multiple roadway crossings by trenchless methods. The project will also include the construction of a new well, installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, new computers, billing software and associated staff training on software and AMR system.
BIDS will be received for a single prime Contract. BIDS shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items, if applicable, as indicated in the Bid Form.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on September 13, 2018 at the Garfield MDWC & MSWA office, 8580 Hwy. 187, Garfield, NM 87936. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged.
