NMED COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance Program Innovation Video Wins ECOS Award

In May of this year, the Environmental Council of States (ECOS) put out a call for Innovation Videos from states across the country to feature during the ECOS annual Fall Meeting. These videos would highlight innovative ways that states are tackling a given area of industry.

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) submitted a feature to the event highlighting the ongoing COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance Program that Souder, Miller & Associates has been working on since December of 2020. The video was selected as the winner of the ECOS 2021 State Innovation Award in the category of Water.
