SMA Expands Subsurface Utility Engineering Services Across the Mountain West

(SMA) is pleased to announce the expanded offering of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), utility locating, and utility mapping support services for planning, permitting, design, and construction projects across New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

SMA’s SUE services help public agencies, private owners, utilities, developers, contractors, industrial clients, tribal entities, and consulting partners identify and better understand underground utility conditions before excavation, construction, or right-of-way work begins. By combining experienced field crews, in-house equipment, and integrated geomatics, engineering, environmental, GIS, CAD, and survey capabilities, SMA helps clients reduce utility-related risk, improve design confidence, identify conflicts earlier, and support safer, more efficient project delivery.
