Owner: The Navajo Nation on behalf of Chichiltah Chapter
Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the CHICHILTAH-VANDERWAGEN WATER SUPPLY WELLS PROJECT will be received by the OWNER at the office of the ENGINEER, Souder, Miller & Associates, until 2:00 PM (Local Time), FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22nd, 2021, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Description: Work of the project consists of construction, development and testing of a municipal potable water supply well field, including the construction and discrete-interval zone sampling of one approximately 1,500-FT deep pilot well, followed by construction, development, and testing of up to five production wells which may range in depth from approximately 800-FT to 1,500-FT to provide potable water supply for the Vanderwagen community of the Chichiltah Navajo Chapter.

Preference will be given in accordance with the Navajo Nation Business Opportunities Act, N.N.C. Title 5, Chapter 2. Bidders claiming preference shall submit evidence of their priority certification with their bid. All firms submitting bids under this solicitation must comply with all other qualification requirements referenced in the solicitation documents for their bid to be considered responsive.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT will be held on the grounds of the Chichiltah Chapter House, McKinley County, New Mexico on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1st, 2021 at 10:30 am.

Thank you for your interest in bidding the Chichiltah-Vanderwagen Water Supply Wells Project.
The mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held October 1st, beginning at 10:30a.m. with an outdoor meeting on the grounds of the Chichiltah Chapter House. Following the meeting, a bag lunch will be provided and the Engineer and Owner will lead bidders on a site visit tour of the proposed well sites and access routes. Bid Documents for the project have been uploaded to this website for download by potential Bidders. The bid documents have been grouped and uploaded as six different Files. The contents of the files follow the order of documents as listed in the Table of Contents (TOC is included in File 1).
