The Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Sheep Springs Community Center in Sheep Springs, NM at 10:30 AM, site visit to follow. Directions to Sheep Springs Community Center given below.
From Gallup, NM: Starting from the I-40 and US HWY 491 intersection, drive north on US HWY 491 for 47.2 miles. Turn left (west) on to NM HWY 134 for 180-feet. Turn left (south) on to Old Hwy and Indian Service Route 32 for 0.4 miles to the Sheep Springs Chapter Complex.
From Shiprock, NM: Starting from the US HWY 491 and US HWY 64 (south) intersection, drive south on US HWY 491 for 44 miles. Turn right (west) on to NM HWY 134 for 180-feet. Turn left (south) on to Old Hwy and Indian Service Route 32 for 0.4 miles to the Sheep Springs Chapter Complex.
From I-40 in Gallup, NM, take highway 491 North for approximately 41.2 miles. Turn left (West) from highway 491 onto the frontage road, continue North on frontage road for 0.2 miles, turn left onto Indian Service Route 693 for 0.2 miles. Naschitti Chapter House is on the right.

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the NASCHITTI CHAPTER SAN JUAN LATERAL CONNECTION, Navajo Nation Bid No. 24-03-3297LE, will be received by the OWNER at the office of the ENGINEER, Souder, Miller & Associates, until 2:00 PM (Local Time), FRIDAY, May 10th, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Project Description: The Naschitti Chapter San Juan Lateral Connection project is located in Naschitti, NM along the US HWY 491. The project will consist of approximately 2.12 miles of 8-inch HDPE pipe to convey water from the Navajo Gallup Water Supply Project San Juan Lateral to the Naschitti Chapter Community Water System. The project will also include a chlorination building and a new 200,000-gallon water storage tank.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT will be held at the Naschitti Chapter House, San Juan County, New Mexico on THURSDAY, APRIL 18th, 2024 at 10:00 am (MDT).
