ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Povi Kaa Drive Project No. NP401(1)2&4, Contract No. A08AV00051 (CTM00T71301) and Shu Maa Po Project No. Project No. NP402(1)2&4, Contract No. A11V00280 (CTM00T71304) will be received, by the Pueblo de San Ildefonso, at the office of the Governor 02 Tunyo Po, Santa Fe, NM 87506, until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday August 12, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Bid Opening will be held electronically, and information will be posted by addendum at the website of the Engineer, Souder, Miller & Associates (SMA), at www.soudermiller.com, a minimum of 72 hours prior to the Bid Opening. At this time, electronic submittals will not be accepted.

To enter the Pueblo, visitors will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The Povi Kaa Drive project will include full depth pavement reconstruction, drainage structure improvements, and a walking path. The Shu Maa Po project will include a mill and inlay of the existing pavement. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held electronically on Thursday July 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM local time and information will be posted by addendum at the website of the Engineer, SMA, at www.soudermiller.com, a minimum of 72 hours prior to the pre-bid conference. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged.

The last day for questions is Thursday August 5, 2021 at 5:00 PM local time. No more questions will be received after this date and time. Questions may be emailed to Thaddeus Yazzie, P.E. at Thaddeus.Yazzie@soudermiller.com.

The contract documents (in electronic media format) may be obtained at the website of the Engineer, SMA, at www.soudermiller.com at no cost. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to periodically check the website for any possible addenda.

For the present Project, Bidding Documents in electronic media format are furnished to bidding contractors for the sole purpose of preparing bids, and not for construction. The selected construction Contractor shall not rely on files provided in electronic media format for construction, but rather hard copies of such data provided by the Engineer or Owner upon award of the Contract.
